Who We Are
Division 6 is a manufacturer of entertainment electronics located in western New York. We offer unique synthesizer products that combine human vintage analog circuits with futuristic computer technology, including a line of Eurorack modules. We also have an expanding line of show control products.
Our History
1947
Division 6 started out as a top-secret research facility tasked with analyzing and reverse-engineering a sudden wave of “foreign” technology that was discovered on a remote New Mexico ranch.
1985
A promising young tech named Scott was hired. His future looked bright until he got caught eating the last corn dog from the break room. He was banished to the very bottom level of Division 6 where he would continue his work in solitude.
2002
Scott began to fear that Division 6 had forgotten that he still worked there (in fact, the entire rest of the facility had been abandoned 3 years earlier for fear of Y2K). Lacking any direction from management, he started researching his own ideas. None of them ever worked the way they were supposed to, but they did make some strange wonderful noises.
2007
Scott discovered that people actually liked his technology and the crazy sounds it produced. All he had to do was write “modular synthesizer” on it and folks were hooked.
